the business units induction heating and stirring Technology,
Induction-Hardening Technology and Tube/Strip Technology from
Elotherm GmbH.
SMS Elotherm GmbH is an affiliate of SMS AG, a group of
leading companies in the areas of Metallurgical Plant and
Rolling Mill Technology, Tube, Long Products and Forging technology,
and Plastics Technology, and Plastics Technology (sales in
2002: Euro 2.2 billion with 9900 employees worldwide).
SMS Elotherm GmbH complements the range of scope and services
in the business area of Tube, Long Products and Forging Technology
and is thus able to operate as a system supplier and offer
its customers proven integrated solutions from a single source.
SMS Elotherm GmbH will operate as an independent supplier
on the world market. Empowered by the partnership with SMS
AG, SMS Elotherm GmbH will provide all customers with convincing
products and solutions based on it’s technological potential.
